Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and sauté until it's cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, garlic, oregano, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Whisk the mixture and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat it evenly with the sauce. Add the cooked penne pasta and toss everything together until well combined.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
