Creamy Marry Me Chicken Tortellini

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and sauté until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, or until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and whisk in the Parmesan cheese. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring frequently, until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with the chicken and sauce.
  6. Gently toss the tortellini, chicken, and sauce together until well combined. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to taste.
